AbandonmentFrankenstein held himself as a god and the ultimate father figure while building the body of the monster, but ran away when seeing how flawed he was. For almost two years Frankenstein ran from his creation and refused to accept his existence, even after he did, he despised it and tried to destroy it. The leading cause of the monster's hatred was Frankenstein abandoning him.

prejudiceFrom the moment that Frankenstein's creature comes to life he is judged and hated for his appearance. Although he may have had a kind heart initially, people looked at him as a monster, and so he became what they feared.

revengeAs soon as Frankenstein's monster reached out to humans, they attacked him even though he was helping. This enraged him and drove him to hurt those who had wronged him. He continued murdering those that Frankenstein cared for because he felt it unfair that Frankenstein made him ugly and unlovable.
